Eliah Aronoff-Spencer, MD, PhD.

Dr. Eliah Aronoff-Spencer is a first year resident. He joined the PSTP program after graduating from Albert Einstein College of Medicine with clinical as well a research honors. His research has ranged from structural biophysics and biology applied to neurotoxic proteins such as prions and the Beta-amyloid protein, to computer modeling and simulation. He has recently returned from a year of practicing international medicine and is currently working in medical decision making theory as well as developing "need" based research efforts- bringing international medical problems to basic medical and science researchers to drive scientific efforts at UCSD and abroad.
