Eliah Aronoff-Spencer, MD, PhD
Dr. Eliah Aronoff-Spencer is a first year resident. He joined the PSTP after graduating from Albert Einstein College of Medicine with clinical as well as research honors. His research has ranged from structural biophysics and biology applied to neurotoxic proteins such as prions and the Beta-amyloid protein, to computer modeling and simulation. He has recently returned from a year of practicing international medicine and is currently working in medical decision making theory as well as developing "need" based research efforts- bringing international medical problems to basic medical and science researchers to drive scientific efforts at UC San Diego and abroad.
